After the SSC CGL Tier 1 answer key goes live, every candidate wants one thing: their real marks. Counting 100 questions by hand against the key, then applying negative marking, is slow and error-prone. This tool does it in seconds.
Save your response sheet from the SSC portal, choose it here, and get your total and section-wise score with +2 / −0.5 marking applied. Your sheet never leaves your device.

Is my data safe?
Completely. This calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your response sheet is read on your device, your score is worked out on your device, and nothing — not your sheet, your roll number or your marks — is sent to us or anyone else. There is no account and no quota. You can load this page, turn off your internet, and it still works.
Questions
How is my SSC CGL 2026 score calculated?
Your score follows the official marking scheme: 100 questions, +2 for correct and −0.5 for wrong. The calculator counts your correct, wrong and unattempted questions and applies these marks, including negative marking, so you get the same figure the Commission will.
Is my response sheet uploaded anywhere?
No. The saved page is read entirely inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can even turn off your internet after the page loads and it still works.
How do I get my response sheet file?
When the answer key / response sheet link is live on the exam portal, log in, open your response sheet, and save the page (press Ctrl+S, choose "Webpage, Complete" or "HTML only"). Then choose that saved file here.
What if the answer key is not in my saved page?
Some portals show your chosen options but not the correct ones. In that case the calculator reads your answers from the page and lets you paste the official answer key, so it can still score you.
Is this the official score?
It is an accurate estimate using the official marking scheme, which matches the Commission’s result in all normal cases. Final marks can differ slightly if questions are dropped or the key is revised after challenges. Always treat the official result as final.
